This assignment was given in Dr. Ela Thurgood's English 371 class. The assignment asked the class to watch a TED talk and discuss how language acquisition and development is influenced by age.

This paper is succinct in its description of how babies are able to acquire language fluency. The paper also discusses which age is preferred for language acquisition and development. Academic literacy is predicated on whether a student is reading, writing, and speaking in their L1 or L2 language.
